INDIVIDUA® INSTANT BOND DIGITAL POSITIONING + INNOVATIVE TRAY + PRE-COATED BRACKETS

INSTANT BOND INDIVIDUA®

INDIVIDUA® INSTANT BOND - with this innovation, INDIVIDUA® combines the INDIRECT BOND System with pre-coated brackets (for instance 3M ™ Unitek, APCTM Flash-Free brackets). Now the steps “apply adhesive” and “remove excess/flash” are unnecessary with the new combination solution. Maximum optimization of the workflow, digital precision bonding and fastest bonding time can be realized. The brackets are already included and pre-coated. Consequently, the orthodontist only has to place the tray on the patient’s teeth and cure the composite.

1Cleaning

Cleaning the tooth surface Clean the tooth surface thoroughly by the usual method. Pay attention to the oil-free components and complete removal of substances by rinsing and subsequent drying of the tooth with compressed air.

2Conditioning

Conditioning of the tooth surface Condition the entire tooth surface and leave the acid gel in place for the time specified in the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove the gel by aspiration and rinsing. When using a self-conditioning primer, apply the primer to the tooth surface and let it act.

3Isolation

Isolation of the oral cavity The brackets can be fixed without any additional preparations. Ensure that the bonding area is dry. Saliva and water can prevent successful bonding of the brackets.

2Smoothing

Smoothing the adhesive on the bracket base Use an instrument wetted with primer to spread the adhesive very thinly over the bracket base, ensuring that the whole surface is evenly covered.

3Placement of trays

Placement of trays Ensure that you position and place the trays exactly on the correct teeth. Avoid contact between the prepared bracket bases and the adjacent teeth. Push the tray gently in the apical direction until it is precisely in position. Press against the tray base to check that it is not loose.

4Removal of adhesive

Removal of excess adhesive Excess adhesive can escape at the apical edge of the bracket base. Run an instrument along the apical edge of the bracket base and remove the excessive adhesive. Carefully check this area once again before it cures.

5UV curing

UV curing Cure the adhesive with a high-power LED lamp. Always check the required curing time for the system used.
